BMW S58 "Level-Up" Charge Air Cooler Manifold - Raw Billet
If you are serious about pushing the S58 to real power, the factory plastic manifold is not your friend. Once boost climbs past the safe zone, the stock unit becomes a liability. The CSF by PWR S58 Level Up Charge Air Cooler Manifold transforms the way your G8X M3, M4, M2, X3M, or X4M delivers power. Boost hits harder, intake temps stay under control, and the engine pulls clean all the way to redline. This is the kind of upgrade you feel immediately, especially when the car is heat soaked and everyone else is pulling timing.
This manifold was developed through over a year of CFD analysis, dyno validation, and real track abuse. Tested on high horsepower builds pushing over 40 PSI of boost, including record setting S58 setups, the results speak for themselves. Independent dyno sessions showed gains from 4500 RPM to redline, improved charge air temperature control, and pressure drop numbers that match or beat OEM. It is not just bigger. It is smarter, stronger, and built for serious boost.
Precision Engineered Design
At the heart of the system is a custom PWR bar and plate air to water core with 23.6 percent more volume than OEM. Core size measures 152mm x 239mm x 110mm, compared to 142mm x 230mm x 99mm factory.
Features 48 air rows and 49 water rows, dramatically increasing surface area. Air side fin height measures 2.43mm with 28 fins per inch. Water side fin height measures 2.00mm with 26 fins per inch and a lance off turbulator design for maximum heat transfer.
Air and water side fin thickness is 0.08mm, roughly half the thickness of conventional bar and plate cores. Cladding sheets measure just 0.3mm thick, requiring extremely precise welding.
Core is pressure tested to 120 PSI. Each unit is leak tested under water at 80 PSI for five continuous minutes before final assembly.
The manifold itself is CNC machined from billet aluminum and fully TIG welded into a one piece construction. No gasketed plenum joints. No weak plastic tanks. The welded design increases plenum volume and eliminates common OEM failure points.
Includes KIYLEX thermal rejection competition spacer, capable of handling temperatures up to 1100 degrees Fahrenheit. Unlike basic phenolic spacers, KIYLEX dissipates heat rather than trapping it, reducing manifold heat soak and stabilizing intake air temperatures.
Integrated features include port injection fuel rail, 1 8 inch NPT nitrous or methanol ports on each runner, dual 10 ORB fittings, three port sensor pad, bleeder screw, machined coolant quick connects, oil filter access recess, and OEM style mounting provisions throughout.
Replaces OEM part numbers 17518092584 and 17518053321.
Configuration Options
Single raw billet aluminum manifold configuration.
Integrated port injection system with included fuel rail, block off bungs provided for non port injection setups.
Integrated nitrous ports with steel bungs for customers not running nitrous or methanol.
Front plenum threaded port for X3M and X4M applications, can also be configured for blow off valve use on G8X models.
Exhaust Tips & Customization
Not applicable. This product focuses on intake charge cooling and manifold performance.
Custom finishes such as thermal dispersion coatings and powder coat options are available separately through special order. Raw billet finish comes standard.
Production & Lead Time
Each manifold is built in limited production with hand assembled cores and precision TIG welding. Due to the complexity of the core and billet construction, production time typically ranges from three to four weeks depending on finish and demand. Quality and leak testing are prioritized over speed.
