Exchange Policy

Overview

This exchange policy covers two situations: (1) we shipped you the wrong item, or (2) you received the correct item but would like to switch to a different product or you ordered a product with the wrong fitment. The process and responsibilities differ depending on the situation.

By completing a purchase on our website, you agree to all of our policies and terms of service, including this exchange policy.

We Sent the Wrong Item

If we shipped you the incorrect item, we will always make it right. Here's how the process works:

  • Contact us at support@cencalmotorsport.com with your order number and let us know you received the wrong item
  • We will send you a pre-paid return shipping label at no cost to you
  • Ship the incorrect item back to us in the original packaging
  • Once the incorrect item is received back to us, we will ship out the correct item
  • We cover all shipping costs and insurance in both directions

Please note: In cases where we sent the wrong item, we will send the correct product rather than issue a refund. We prefer to make it right by getting you the item you ordered rather than issuing a refund.

You Ordered the Wrong Item or Want to Switch

If you received the correct item but ordered the wrong product (e.g., wrong vehicle fitment) or simply want to switch to a different item, you may submit an exchange request. However, exchanges in this situation are evaluated on a per-order basis, and CenCal Motorsport reserves the right to approve or deny any exchange request.

How to Submit an Exchange Request

Email support@cencalmotorsport.com and include:

  • Your order number
  • Whether you ordered the wrong item or want to switch to a different product
  • The product you would like to exchange for

Our team will create a ticket and respond with whether your exchange has been approved or denied.

Shipping Responsibility

When you received the correct item and are requesting an exchange, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs:

  • Return shipping: You must pay to ship the item back to us. You can ship directly through a carrier or use a third-party service like Shippo for discounted rates.
  • New item shipping: You are also responsible for the shipping cost of the replacement item being sent to you.

Packaging & Insurance

  • The item must be shipped back in the original box with proper packaging
  • If you ship the item yourself, we strongly recommend purchasing shipping insurance through your carrier
  • If you request a pre-paid label from us, no insurance will be included on that label
  • If the item arrives back to us damaged due to improper packaging or lack of insurance, the exchange will be invalid and the item will be returned to you as-is

Price Differences

If the item you want to exchange for has a different price:

  • Higher price: You will receive an invoice for the price difference, which must be paid before the new item ships
  • Lower price: The difference will be refunded to your original payment method

Right to Refuse

CenCal Motorsport reserves the right to refuse any exchange request when the customer received the correct item. In some cases, we may offer alternative resolutions such as store credit or other accommodations.

We will never refuse to correct an order where we sent the wrong item — that will always be made right.
