By purchasing any performance or aftermarket part from CenCal Motorsport, the customer agrees and acknowledges that such products will only be used for off-road or race purposes and will not be installed on any street-driven or road-registered vehicle in a manner that violates applicable laws.

These products include, but are not limited to:

  • Exhaust systems and exhaust components (downpipes, midpipes, catback systems, headers)
  • Catalytic converter replacements 
  • Cold air intakes and intake systems
  • ECU tuning software and performance tunes
  • Turbo kits and forced induction components
  • EGR delete kits and emissions-related components
  • Any other performance part that may alter factory emissions or exhaust configurations

Important: A product does not need to be explicitly labeled as "off-road use only," "for race use only," "not street legal," or "non-EPA compliant" in its product description for this disclaimer to apply. This disclaimer applies to all products sold on cencalmotorsport.com that fall under the categories listed above or subject to any and all products, whether or not the individual product listing contains a specific off-road or compliance notice. Some product descriptions may include such notices, but the absence of one does not imply the product is street legal or emissions compliant.

EPA & EMISSIONS COMPLIANCE

Many aftermarket performance parts sold on this website may not comply with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, the Clean Air Act, or state-level emissions standards, including but not limited to California Air Resources Board (CARB) requirements.

It is the customer's sole responsibility to:

  • Research and understand all applicable federal, state, and local emissions laws and regulations in their jurisdiction before placing an order

SHIPPING RESTRICTIONS

CenCal Motorsport does not knowingly ship EPA non-compliant or off-road-only parts to states or jurisdictions where such products are illegal, unless the customer confirms the product is being purchased exclusively for race car, track, or off-road vehicle use. By completing a purchase, the customer represents and warrants that any off-road or non-compliant product will be used solely for lawful off-road or competition purposes.

VEHICLE WARRANTY DISCLAIMER

Installing aftermarket performance parts may affect or void your vehicle's manufacturer warranty. While the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act provides certain protections, individual dealers and manufacturers may interpret warranty coverage differently.

CenCal Motorsport is not responsible or liable for any warranty claims denied by your vehicle's manufacturer or dealership as a result of installing aftermarket parts purchased from our website. This includes, but is not limited to, powertrain warranty claims, drivetrain claims, emissions system claims, and any related manufacturer warranty coverage.

PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

All performance and aftermarket parts should be installed by a qualified professional mechanic or certified shop. Improper installation can result in vehicle damage, safety hazards, or voided warranties. CenCal Motorsport is not liable for any damage, injury, or issues resulting from improper or incorrect installation.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK & WAIVER OF LIABILITY

By purchasing performance or aftermarket parts from CenCal Motorsport, the customer acknowledges, agrees, and represents that:

  • The product may be intended for off-road, race, or competition use only
  • The customer will only use off-road products for lawful off-road or race purposes and will not drive them on public streets or highways in violation of applicable laws
  • The customer is solely responsible for determining the legality of purchasing, installing, and using the product in their jurisdiction
  • The customer assumes all risk associated with the purchase, installation, and use of aftermarket parts
  • CenCal Motorsport shall not be held liable for any fines, penalties, citations, failed inspections, vehicle impoundment, legal consequences, vehicle damage, personal injury, or any other loss or damage resulting from the purchase, installation, or use of products from our website
  • The customer waives any and all claims, demands, and causes of action against CenCal Motorsport, its owners, employees, and agents related to EPA compliance, emissions regulations, off-road use violations, or any legal consequences arising from the use of products purchased on cencalmotorsport.com
  • No legal action may be taken against CenCal Motorsport regarding emissions compliance, EPA regulations, CARB compliance, or any federal, state, or local environmental or vehicle regulation as it relates to products purchased from our website
  • The customer has read and agrees to this disclaimer as part of our Terms of Service

NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS FOR COMPLIANCE REASONS

CenCal Motorsport does not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations based on the customer discovering that a product is not legal for street use in their state, does not pass emissions inspection, is not CARB-compliant, or otherwise does not meet local regulatory requirements — unless the product was explicitly listed as compliant in the product description and is not.

It is the customer's responsibility to verify all compliance requirements before purchasing. Please review our Return Policy and Cancellation Policy for more details.
